Our mission at Rosen Chiropractic is to provide high-quality care to people of all ages. We strive to not only correct a person's health problems, but to educate and enlighten people so that they do not encounter similar problems in the future.

My Tarzana office, at 18399 Ventura Blvd., Suite 241.

I provide Chiropractic care with bodywork, exercise programs and adjustments. I use the body's own ability to adjust whenever possible through SOT, Activator, Somato therapy, muscle stretching and strengthening.

Serving you:

Philip S. Rosen, DC

Dr. Philip S. Rosen

I graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in April 1995 and completed my postgraduate training in nutrition in 1997. I have a certification in Chiropractic Foot Care, 1998. I have been in practice since August of 1995 in the city of Tarzana. I practice a "Wellness Program", which is based on the principle that the primary cause of all disease can be related to fixations and interruptions of normal tone -- nerves too tense or too slack.

My goal is to provide a unique health care office specializing in getting patients well without drugs, through chiropractic, physical therapy, exercise activities and patient education. I teach patients how their body works and how to take care of it outside of my office. We strive to correct a person's health problems, but also to educate and enlighten people so that they do not encounter similar problems in the future. My teaching is not limited to adults. I also teach schoolchildren about the spine. How important the maintenance of a healthy spine is to their overall health.

Care of the spine cannot begin too early in life. Just as wellness and longevity is in large part determined by the health of the adult spine, so is it important to the child's spine. The children receivie a gentle spinal adjustment that will improve their posture, restore any nerve imbalances, and generally improve their health.

My practice emphasizes the treatment of a variety of conditions, from chronic low back and neck pains to active rehabilitation following an injury. Another major aspect of my practice is the treatment of foot, posture and muscle imbalances.

I take pride in working with individuals who are interested in getting rid of muscle tension and tightness and in increasing their flexibility. To help accomplish this, I use my chiropractic skills as well as CranioSacral Therapy, somatic therapy, trigger point treatments and a variety of stretching and strengthening exercises. I assist my patients with clinical nutritional supplements and I can provide information about improving diet, creating a healthier workplace, and increasing the overall quality of health and wellness.

Pain relief is important but it is only part of getting well. Regaining or increasing your overall health following any accident or learning to reduce and control your pain by taking active control of your actions is at the center of my focus.

No one can guarantee that every patient will regain 100% wellness. But, with my approach of getting the patient involved and active, I have a high success rate.
